The Bucks County Guild of Craftsmen works to stimulate interest in fine crafts and appreciation of the work of craftsmen. The Guild upholds and maintains standards of excellence in design and workmanship, assists members in marketing high quality crafts and provides a forum for exchange of ideas and information through its meetings and programs.
BIG NEWS! The BCGC is establishing an artists' cooperative, The Red Tulip Gallery, in downtown Newtown, at 2 S. State St. We will be open for business starting on May 18, and the Grand Opening is Saturday, June 1--we'll have demonstrations by several artists as well as light refreshments. Be sure to stop by--see what's new in the fine craft world from a variety of Bucks chapter members. Jewelry, pysanky, woodcarving, raku, pottery, baskets, glass, handbags and much, much more!
Membership in the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen and the Bucks County Chapter is open to anyone interested in fine crafts. The PGC is one of the largest craft guilds in the country and offers many benefits to its members. Do you live in a neighboring state? You don’t have to live in Pennsylvania to be a Guild member. We have members from 33 states and two foreign countries!
Our Craftsman members, who range from novices to professionals, span disciplines including wood, jewelry, fiber, photography, ceramics, glass, fine arts, leather, and more. Our Friend members includes collectors, gallery and store owners, students, and family/friends of craftsmen, among others. Find out more!
