Melissa Michael is a dedicated ceramic artist and educator with over 30 years of experience working with clay. Her artistic journey encompasses both creating and teaching, having led a substantial ceramics program in a public school in New Jersey. Melissa’s work blends wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques, resulting in functional pieces that enrich daily rituals such as enjoying a morning coffee or sharing a meal. She believes that handcrafted items carry the energy of their maker, infusing each piece with a unique spiritual essence.  Melissa’s passion lies in crafting pottery that not only serves a practical purpose but also fosters a deeper connection between the user and the handmade object.
